Terry Myers opened Café Elite in 1991. Terry and his wife Kelly live in Gig Harbor, WA. The couple, along with their son, Ryan, is dedicated to growing the family-owned business. While the number of stores continues to expand, so does the vision for Café Elite.
As a goal, the company is working on areas of development that will continue to help employees Earn and Learn during their time at Café Elite.
The Earn and Learn employee program is focused on the personal and professional development that employees in our industry often face. While our employees earn an hourly wage, our team members earn a healthy additional income from the generosity of our customers. Between wages, tips and manager bonus structures, our baristas are able to create their own financial goals. We believe that providing resources for our baristas to continue to learn about financial planning while simultaneously offering eligible employees growth opportunities is part of our employer responsibility.
